Debts will rise

Debtsare going to rise over the next decade. It's predicted that the debt will rise to nearly $1.6 trillion. From 2010 - 2019, there will be a $9 trillion dollar deficit, which was $2 trillion more than it was originally estimated. The economy will lower by 2.5 and it'll become 2.8. This makes it harder for the country to get out of the recession, because people are going to be forced to raise taxes. Some action is going to have to be taken and the economy can't afford to get worse. Obama said he would nominate Ben Bernanke for a second term in the Federal Reserve. This helped ease some financial worries. With these predictions, Obama's goal to lower the deficit in half by 2013 will look more difficult to reach. It will also make it harder to reconstruct health care system. Unemployment will remain up to the next election. These predictions are just a sample of the hard road up ahead. It is becoming clear that the economy will become worse before it gets better. If Obama keeps his promise, then in 2013 we will look back and say,” Remember when our economy was really bad?" Then again these are only predictions, so they are subject to change. So just as fast as it looked as though we would be in even more debt it could look like we could get out of it faster.

Obama is on vacation...woop di do

Obama went on a family vacation to Martha's Vineyard. He golfed, worked out, and played tennis with Michelle Obama. By now it should be obvious that there are no politics involved in this article, besides the fact that the people named have a part in politics. But no economic issues, nothing on immigration, and so on. It's a good thing that Obama is having a vacation, but it shouldnt be the topic of a whole article. Maybe a "Obama is on vacation and he is having a good time" would've been enough. There's no need to write a whole articfle on it. White house officials stated it was a "private" vacation. Private, i believe, involves the family having their alone time. It's funny how even though the country is in trouble some people in politics have enough time to go to a resort for the very rich to have some time to enjoy their lives. They do deserve time alone and it's not that they're doing it wrong, but i dont think that it should be reported that their doing things that the rich do, while some readers could be having econmical problems. It makes it harder for them to reach those in lower classes. Agreed too much is being thought into this, but the sections where people are quoted to saying jokes should've been edited out. Some important things in the article were left until the end, and were briefly described. The economy was mentioned, but not as an issue; all that was said was that obama was getting reports on it even though he was away, and that was basically it. The most important thing of the whole article was the fact that Obama was going to try to achieve Senator Edward Kennedy's, who has brain cancer, career goals: "overhauling the nation's health insurance system to provide near-universal coverage." What is being said is that Obama is still being seen more as a star, than a president. Books are mentioned in the article; as if literature decides whether he is a good president or not. Last time anyone checked it was their actions that counted. the biggest example of Obama being seen as a star is when they got the dog. Seriously? He has become president and everyone cares what dog he got? i mean millions of people get dogs and the whole world isn't like ,"Really? What dog? Let's write a report," the response is usually a ," we don't care." Obama's political actions should be in the news; not information on how he is trying to live his life (especially not common things that people do, but only seem important because the president does it). Writers note: Yes, i know i was kind of a hypocrite, because i made a blog on a small thing, instead of focusing on big thing. The reason i did decided to do it anyway is that people have to realize what is news worthy. There are billions of people doing something, but the world has to stop when one man does the same thing as though it was some big achivement. This blog wasn't against Obama; i still hope he changes the U.S. for the better. This blog was against societies' idea of "important" news.

Obama is working on reforming education. Obama is working on lower high school dropout percentages, and to continue pursuing their education. Obama's goal is to make the United States' college graduate percentage higher than any other countries.Education Secretary Arne Duncan, Rev. Sharpton and Newt Gingrich are working to help Obama's cause. They're going across the country spreading Obama's idea of Americans who have a higher education can get better jobs. On Sept. 8 Obama is going to give a big speech to the students across the nation to let them know that education is important for them and the country. they want to show that there is no reason to not have an education. These men believe that education is the most important thing right now. agreed that it is, but the students and parents arent the only ones that decide wether or not to continue their education. sometimes there are good excuses like money or family problems. families who have financial problems should be helped first so they can have the option to continue their kids' education. Obama's speech is sure to be inspirational but the question is how many people will listen. Would it change anything? Chances are it wont have a really big impact, but it's a start.
